“Business communication” team is in charge of all the communication activities related to our customers projects. The aim of the “Business communication” team is to provide the needed platforms for mail exchange for our customers, Workflows management, Fax, Voice capacity and gateways for our Call centers but also for the other customer projects.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Advanced administration, configuration, implementation, operation and maintenance of Cisco Voice and Unified Communication and Collaboration platform (Baldur).
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure related to a service.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Working with Telecom providers and 3rd party hardware/software maintenance vendors.

Skills we can’t do without:

  • Advanced ability to implement, configure, operate, and administer Cisco based VoIP Voice and Messaging platforms which include Cisco Unified Communication Manager,  Gateways, Jabber and Softphone.
  • 5+ years’ experience providing Voice Operations support services in a mid to large size organization supporting a variety of vendor platforms and technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Telco services (PRI, DID, POTS, SIP Trunks).
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols including SIP, LAN, WAN, VLAN.
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of Network related technics.
  • Good written and communication skills, business fluent English is mandatory. Dutch, French, German or Spanish are a plus.
  • Stress resistant and ability to adapt to tight deadlines and dynamically changing priorities. 
  • Pragmatic, still highly organized and structured.
