Context
- The Crédit Agricole and Worldline Groups are joining forces through a joint venture, CAWL, to strengthen their leadership positions in the market.
- CAWL aims to become the French leader in merchant payment services, grow twice as fast as the market, and establish itself as the benchmark for innovation.
- CAWL is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to define, implement, monitor, and coordinate its cloud infrastructure used within our payment solutions.
- Within the Technology & Operations department, you will report to the Head of Technology and work closely with CAWL's operations teams, our partners, and Worldline's solution teams.
Missions
As a DevOps Engineer within the Technology and Operations team, you will contribute to the deployment, evolution, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructures and production tools. You will work closely with our teams and partners to improve and secure our software development lifecycle (web and mobile applications).
Deployment, Management, and Monitoring of Cloud Infrastructure:
- Contribute to the deployment and management of our Cloud infrastructure - UAT, Preprod, and Production.
- Participate in monitoring system and application performance.
- Take part in cloud infrastructure management and optimization.
Automation and Integration:
- Familiarize yourself with the group's DevOps toolbox.
- Design and maintain automation scripts for deployments.
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with development teams and partners to understand and implement their infrastructure needs.
- Engage with business teams during the definition of new products and services to anticipate infrastructure evolution.
Continuous Improvement:
- Propose and help implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and optimize costs.
- Maintain system and process documentation.
Incident Management and Support:
- Address technical incidents and issues.
- Act as a liaison with relevant partners.
- Be part of an on-call rotation schedule.
Profile
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Google Cloud Professional Certification (Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) is highly valued.
Experience:
- Over 2 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Proven experience managing cloud application infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly during critical incidents.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in cloud environments and tools, especially Google Cloud Platform and Linux environments.
- Experience with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in container management with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for system monitoring and log analysis.
- Scripting skills: Shell, Python.
- Knowledge of database management (MySQL or MariaDB) is a plus.
