The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager – CP Product, the Product Manager – Card Present is responsible for all aspects of the products in their portfolio and are ultimately accountable for their success. These include Terminals and other hardware.
Key responsibilities include

- Responsible for the commercial aspects of the product including profit and loss.
- Has multiple sources of communication and gathers all to align the overall vision and strategy for the product.
- Accountable for market and competitor analysis to drive the value and positioning of the product
- Product Managers are business experts and share this knowledge with key business stakeholders such as sales, marketing, suppliers and customers.
- For new opportunities of business value, the Product Manager writes business cases and feature requests backed up with commercials, target market analysts and implementation plans.
- The Product Manager is actively involved in acceptance testing the feature with a view to how we can implement improvements to maximize profit.
Required skills and experience
Knowledge of:
- Payments Industry preferably online / e-commerce payments
- Product management methodologies
- Agile Processes and Principles
Experience / Expertise:
- Experience working in the payments Industry
- Experience working in a product management role
- Experience working in a tactical, hands on role
- Experience in leading commercial outcomes and P&L ownership
