What you’ll do

Digital Commerce and Regional Businesses at Worldline are looking for an experienced Shopping Carts Business Engineers to facilitate our e-commerce plugins expension.

Joining our team will put you in the driver’s seat for executing the vision and strategy for integrated payment experiences through extensions to leading e-commerce platforms (Prestashop, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, Salesforce, SAP...). Your ability to deliver Customer Success will not only be welcomed but celebrated.

You will act as an expert layer between our several APIs (Legacy, Direct, and Connect) and the given ecommerce platforms.



You love working with people and can collaborate across many internal teams to move mountains and drive alignment on big objectives. You know how to turn customer problems into product opportunities and can support and act as an in-house system integrator for the thousands of merchants who will use our plugins. You have a passion for ecommerce platforms and have experience of building ecommerce webshops in one or more of these ecommerce platforms.


More responsibilities in detail:

  • End to End Responsibility for Customer Success for Merchants onboarding on our payment engine and the ecommerce platform
  • Act as Technical Experts and guide customers through the plugins that are unquestionably simple, intuitive, and “just work”
  • Act as an in-house System Integrator for our merchants and Partners
  • Collect feedback from customer interactions to inform the Product Manager
  • Ensure quality of our plugins by performing continuous User Acceptance Testing on each release
  • Report bugs on plugins to the development teams and coach suppliers on the working of our APIs and payment engine
  • Become the internal subject matter expert for eCommerce Platforms payment integrations
  • Support our Pre-Sales Teams on Ecommerce Plugin Deals and Product Demo
  • Create and Validate the integration documentation and provide trainings for L1 & L2 support teams
  • Review the incoming support tickets to find fault lines


Not in scope:

  • L1 & L2 Customer Support
  • Incoming requests will be dealt immediately customer support
  • Salesforce Ticketing & Management
  • Flagging the tickets at L1 and L2 corresponding to Shopping Carts


Who you are


Required competencies

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a webmaster/ ecommerce consultant/ developer/ technical consultant
  • Act as a customer advocate within the team and manage customers’ needs and expectations
  • Eagerness to dive into details, find creative solutions and take responsibility for customer success
  • Ability to collect and utilize data & user feedback to inform product decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good networker and influencer, with interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the building webshops on least one of the shopping cart platforms, i.e. Magento, Prestashop, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud etc.
  • As a self-starter and fast learner, you learn new tools quickly and work autonomously in a fast-evolving environment.
  • A good understanding of the Agile methodology, the scrum framework and tooling i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.


Bonus Points

  • You have knowledge about the payment industry and landscape
  • Experience in the use of at least one of the shopping cart platforms, i.e. Magento, Prestashop, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (DemandWare), etc.
