The Work Environment

As Head of the Channel Sales team, you will be part of the Dutch Regional Business sales department. The Channel Sales team consists of 6 colleagues, all partner managers responsible for their own domain. You will be a part of the Dutch sales management team, and have close collaborations with your peer managers: The Head of Digital Sales & Trade Marketing, Head of Business Development and the Head of Direct Sales KIA/LA.

 

What will your job look like

As Head of Channel Sales at Worldline Netherlands, you have two major responsibilities. First is developing the partner and alliances channel with new and existing partners and propositions by managing the (senior) partner managers. Second, you will maintain the relations with the Dutch banks yourself and are responsible for large deals in this area. Key elements to be successful in this role are perseverance, thoroughness and excellent managing skills.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • You are responsible for a local Dutch team of 6 FTE;
  • You will steer the team members operationally and are responsible for people management matters such as appraisals;
  • You develop the partner and alliances channel in terms of partners (new and existing) and propositions in the Netherlands;
  • You maintain relations with the local banks (mainly the three large banks in the Netherlands);
  • You develop the local team and are always hunting for new business.

  • You are able to translate partner’s requirements towards existing Worldline products or solutions;
  • You are capable of maintaining good relations with different stakeholders within the company (global and local);
  • You have a professional and reliable appearance and take responsibility;
  • You are able to maintain a structured way of working (for yourself and your team) in a dynamic role with many tracks in parallel;
  • You are demonstrating professionalism, personal commitment and dedication, integrity and truthfulness;
  • You are supportive towards your own team members and other colleagues you work with.

 

Skills we can’t do without:

  • You have completed an HBO study;
  • You live in the Netherlands;
  • You have minimal 5 years of sales experience in a similar market (preferably payments, or IT);
  • You have experience with selling solutions to banks (preferably selling payment solutions to banks);
  • You have multiple years of experience as manager of a team with senior colleagues (including people management tasks);
  • You have knowledge of online payments, the current market and market challenges;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
