The Work Environment

You are part of a team of 5 colleagues reporting to the Regional Head of Sales Netherlands and will be working closely with the client delivery team: operational delivery manger and business delivery manager. For client operations outside of the Netherlands, you will be working closely with the local business delivery manager and operational manager and engage them to be part of the account decision-making process. Your main points of contacts and key

stakeholder on the client side are the tribe leads for payments, acquiring and issuing. You liaise and drive discussion on a strategic level between the equensWorldline’s service offerings, client

needs and future roadmaps.

 

What will your job look like

As Global Account Executive banking you will be responsible for managing the key stakeholders and relationships for one of the large Dutch Banks and its subsidiaries across Europe. You will

be working across global teams and utilize your knowledge on payments, acquiring, issuing, cards payments, advanced payments technologies and digital payments to manage and growthe client relationship.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Acquires new (geographical) markets and new clients; retains current clients and offers and sells existing and new products and services to increase sales, according to determined processes and protocols and in line with the Sales strategy leading to more sales, revenues and margin.
  • Develops the integrated Account Business Plan for eW regarding an assigned large key

account involving Client Delivery Management & Sales Support in the various countries.

  • Defines the overall international sales strategy.
  • Coordinates the various inputs and steers the process, taking into account synergy and cross fertilization targets resulting in the most efficient integrated business proposition and realizing the ABP targets.
  • Manages clients satisfaction based on agreed upon SLA’s.
  •  Builds and nurtures client intimacy.

Skills we can’t do without:

  • You have an MBA degree;
  • you have 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role in the payments and/or cards industry;
  • fully up-to-date on innovative developments in the world of payments;
  • experience in performance-based consultancy;
  • excellent command of English and Dutch;
  • able to quickly develop and maintain a solid client-business network based on the multi-level client coverage matrix;
  • strong powers of persuasion to help you achieve concrete sales results;
  • able to identify and define clients’ problems;
  • able to consistently measure and improve client satisfaction.
