Job Responsibilities

  • Customer-facing project management and technical role that is directly responsible for managing post-sales technical support activities and escalations for solutions delivered.
  • Responsible for the ongoing project implementation and rollout activities including negotiating with the customer on rollout timelines, network architecture, project deliverables and post sales technical advisor to the customer.
  • Coordinating with project sponsors and business stakeholders in the prioritization and detail of deliveries while at the same time collaborating with other project stakeholders for consistent and focus implementation.
  • Responsible for building a high-trust relationship with multiple levels within the Customer environment. 
  • Accountable to manage projects and identify and recommend business process and related solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups across the organization to ensure business - technology alignment and proposed solutions meeting defined specifications and needs.
  • Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of a single end-to-end full implementation project together with the technical team.
  • Manages the team, fostering team work and contributes to their professional development.
  • Work with technical teams and manage escalated cases to resolution.
  • Manage and facilitate change request to ensure stakeholders are informed on the risks and impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Ensure the implementation and delivery of the systems are within agreed timeline and project parameters.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Manages and reports project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Maintains project change control, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Become expert in own business domain.
  • Participate in technical design.
  • Perform integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of developed solutions as needed.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in delivering open-platform technical projects (with Java background).
  • Experienced with different roles and managed various categories of projects at planning, feasibility study, and end-to-end delivery.
  • Strong domain and technical knowledge in payment business or banking business related to issuing, acquiring, authorization, switching and routing services.
  • Project management skills. PMP certification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams.
  • Able to lead the team to improve team’s capabilities, application quality and development process.
  • Significant experience and demonstrated ability to interact and present to clients.
  • Previous responsibility for directly managing complex technical issues in a customer environment.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to understand technology and business with strong analytical mind.
  • Experience in documenting current and future state business/operations processes and technical documentation.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • International experience and willingness to travel.
  • Understanding of agile way of working and be able to bridge with contractual commitments.
  • Analytical skills, autonomous, curious, trustworthy and result-oriented.
  • Team player in a multi-cultural working environment with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
