Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

  • Own the First Line Risk & Compliance Line processes, covering Underwriting, Investigations (KYC/AML), Fraud Management and Merchant PCI Compliance.

  • Ensure that all First Line Risk & Compliance processes and procedures are adequately designed and documented to meet all regulatory and Worldline requirements.

  • Provide oversight that the customer base is monitored according to policies and standards.

  • Serve as the First Line Approval Manager for high-risk alerts, including AML, PEP, and others which fall under the First Line processes.

  • Support ANZ Worldline’s reporting requirements to the AUSTRAC, the Australian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

  • Perform Merchant and Partner on site audit and advisory, prior to affiliation and recurring review.

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for the Second Line Risk & Compliance function.

 

Signs of success

 

  • You implement, adapt and maintain Risk Management Framework within the existing company Risk Framework

  • You ensure compliancy of the merchant portfolio (law/schemes and internal policies)

  • You manage and adapt or change existing processes and controls according and keep them in line with internal/external (regulatory) requirements

 

Skills we can’t do without:

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an (AML) Compliance Coordinator in the financial sector

  • Excellent analytical skills with eye for detail

  • Adequate knowledge of standard IT applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,…)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written

  • Results driven and persistent

  • Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment

 

Skills we’d like:

 

  • Masters Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or equivalent

  • Degree/Certificate in AML/CFT or fight against financial crime is a strong plus

  • Knowledge of the payment industry is a plus

  • Previous experience with an Acquirer or a Payment Service Provider is a strong plus

  • Previous experience in credit risk management, fraud risk management, AML or PCI compliance is a plus

  • Previous experience in (IT) project management are a plus
