We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager/Internal Controller. You will report to the Head of Risk Management & Internal Control which team is part of the QSRC (Quality Security Risk Compliance) division for the Global Business Line Financial Services. You will be part of an European team of highly skilled professionals on the area of Risk Management and Internal Control.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • You coordinate internal control activities for the business lines Acquiring, Issuing, Account Payments and Digital Services.
  • You coordinate client audits, involving other functions (Security, Quality, Compliance…)
  • You coordinate, support and advise management at all relevant levels for ISAE 3402/3000 audits.
  • You ensure Book of Internal Control (Blue book) monitoring / reporting based on WL Global approach.


Signs of success

  • You take care of an optimal collaboration with the other teams and your counterparts
  • You deliver regular status reporting on ISAE cycles
  • You identify any risks which are not in control


Skills we can’t do without

  • You have profound experience in internal control
  • You have sophisticated skills in working in international teams and knowledge of international SOC (like ISAE)
  • Fluent in English and German preferably. Another European language (e.g. Dutch/French/Italian) is an advantage but not crucial
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Capacity to interact and create relationship with other 2nd line functions (Security, Business Continuity, Compliance...) to ensure client audits are coordinated in time and quality


Skills we’d like

  • You prove to be a great teammate and have experience working in matrix organisations
  • You have a validated understanding to create assurance awareness in the organization
  • You possess sophisticated knowledge at cards and payments services
  • Knowledge of Information Security / Business Continuity is a plus
  • Experience with Risk Management tools (preferably RSA Archer)
