The Head of FinSec WL MS reports to the Head of Compliance Worldline Merchant Services is manages the compliance functions - second line of defense department covering MS Core (payments institution licensed).
 
Geographical Scope
•    Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, France, Hungary, Italy and Poland
•    Supporting: Australia, Canada, Japan,, Singapore, UK, USA and other new  countries

•    Head of Compliance Worldline Merchant Services  
•    Head of Financial Security Worldline Group  
 
As Head of WL MS FinSec manager and ML-RO he/she is familiar with legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. They are professionals of high ethical standards and work carefully to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. You must be comfortable saying “no” when necessary and be result-oriented. The role will consist in local role combined with pan-European responsibilities.The goal is to preserve the company’s integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course.

 

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include: 

  • You work with the Worldline Group FinSec and global business units to ensure both existing and new products / services comply with the relevant AML-CTF obligations.
  • You manage a team of local FinSec team members (2nd LoD) within Worldline Merchant services
  • You work with local legal counsels, local management and key departments to ensure the organization has and maintains the appropriate AML-CTF level.
  • You foster a FinSec culture within the organization and helps to implement essential elements of the AML-CTF and other relevant global legislation. 
  • You assist local business units with development of tools and methodologies to ensure on-going compliance.
  • You maintain a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and taking action on alerts, equests / complaints concerning the organization’s AML-CTF and related policies and procedures.
  • You ensure existing and new products / services comply with the relevant AML obligations with support from WL MS and close cooperation with the business units. Conducts EWRA and Risk Impact Assessments to determine mitigating measures relevant to the risk level and maintains AML-CTF risk matrix and inventory together with the Business.
  • You ensure alignment between security and privacy practices.
  • You offer consultation on AML alert or breach or other incident occurs.
  • You develop and provide regular AML-CTF related training of regulations and company procedure updates to staff.

 

The Compliance Officer will operate locally while in an international environment and work closely with various teams in the organization (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Sales…).

 

 

Skills we can’t do without: 

  • Master in Law, Economics or equivalent level including knowledge through professional certifications (e.g. Certified AML Specialist (CAMS) or other AML certifications 
  • Minimum 5 years of FinSec program management
  • Knowledge of the payment industry is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with eye for detail
  • Affinity with IT and IT-related projects and ecommerce
  • Practical experience in technical platform integration using internet protocols
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written
  • Results driven and persistent
  • Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment
  • Preferably experience in an e-commerce, bank or payment industry environment
